This was one of my favorite shot from my travels to Ocean City, NJ. It is an early sunrise. I found this lifeguard stand as the sun was coming up over the ocean and was fortunate enough to keep the backhoe that combs the beaches out of the shot.
I thought that all the colorful light for the boardwalks may ride would be fun to play with but after finding all these great geometric shapes with the fairest-wheel and roller coster i fell that it looked much better black and white and allow the viewer to fill in the color. I also like the idea that you can see the movement of the coster along the tracks.
